Sheikh Zayed Hospital Reconstruction Project is a strategic healthcare initiative in Baghdad, involving the demolition of existing facilities and the development of a new hospital in accordance with the latest approved engineering and medical standards.

AKG provided integrated project management services for the project, which was awarded under a grant from the United Arab Emirates to support the development of the healthcare sector in the Republic of Iraq. The services focused on planning, coordination, and oversight to ensure full compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health.

The scope included management of the design and execution of civil and structural works, mechanical, electrical, sanitary, and HVAC systems, as well as coordination of medical equipment and furniture packages to deliver a fully integrated healthcare facility.

The project aims to enhance the quality of medical services and strengthen healthcare infrastructure in central Baghdad, while ensuring delivery in line with the approved schedule, specifications, and long-term operational efficiency standards.
