The project involved the provision of consultancy services for the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) program across 22 sites in multiple governorates of Iraq, implemented under the supervision of the Iraqi Ministry of Health and executed in two phases.

AKG’s scope of services included topographic and site surveying works, covering full measurements and technical assessments for all project locations. The consultancy role also covered the preparation of complete architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and sanitary designs at both preliminary and detailed stages.

In addition, AKG provided construction supervision services, ensuring on-site monitoring, quality control, and formal approval of completed works in accordance with approved designs, technical standards, and project requirements.
