The Al-Hakim General Hospital Project is one of the largest healthcare projects in Najaf Governorate. AKG UAE for Project Management and Medical Equipment Services oversaw its implementation under a Design & Build (Turnkey) approach, with a capacity of 246 beds and a total built-up area of 39,564 square meters.
The project scope included the management and execution of all civil, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC works, in addition to the supply and installation of medical equipment as well as medical and non-medical furniture, in accordance with the designs approved by the Ministry of Health and in full compliance with quality and schedule requirements.
The complex consists of the main hospital building and supporting service facilities, and includes fully integrated medical departments such as emergency services, outpatient clinics, diagnostic radiology, operating theaters, intensive care units, laboratories, and medical and support service facilities.
This project represents an advanced model for general hospitals and reflects AKG’s expertise in managing integrated healthcare projects and delivering them in line with the latest international standards.
